I am on day 2 of a 3 day detox program called the 3 day refresh and in that program you are basically a vegan for 3 days to give your body a break and allow it to rid itself of toxins and bloat.
I am down 2 lbs from my first day.
There is a complete book that comes with the program to help with snack and dinner recipes but my book was in the car so I decided to just go off of the cuff and create my own vegan meal.
The veggies I used were:
-organic red beans
-red bell pepper
I took all of the veggies and sautéed them in a wok in a tablespoon of coconut oil. I started with the potatoes first.
I seasoned it with himalayan salt, Flavor God- Everything Spicy and Flavor God- Garlic Lovers
You can get Flavor God seasonings from www.flavorgod.com They are all natural and hand crafted.
Saute until veggies are to your likeness and voila you are done. Quick family meal that takes less than 20 minutes, it is healthy and you never miss the meat 🙂
I topped mine with a little hotsauce 😉
You don’ have to limit yourselves to the vegetables I used. Be adventures add some or take some away.
