I know you have heard of the saying “fake it til you make it”
I used to believe in that wholeheartedly… I would walk around fake smiling, fake rich, fake alright, fake successful..fake spiritual…. just fake because I thought if I pretended enough then one day those things would manifest themselves.
It wasn’t until I replaced FAITH with FAKE did I realize that I was on to something good.
See the process is the same. It looks the same on the outside …just acting as if….
However, the shift is changing “pretending” to “expectation”.
So now when I am having a bad day and I am smiling…I’m not pretending to feel better, I am smiling in expectation that God will turn it around.
When I can’t see where the money is coming from I stand in expectation that God will provide the resources.
When I act as if I already run a million dollar business, it is because I am standing in expectation for that to come to pass.
When I speak it is not because I am pretending to know the answer but because I stand in expectation that God will provide the right words.
When you see me being confident, it isn’t arrogance, it is knowing and believing who I am in Christ and that I have purpose.
All my acting as if… is now not make believe but preparation for what’s to come. We prepare and study for tests. Prepare for your potential. Prepare for your blessing. Prepare for your overflow. Prepare for your breakthrough.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
While you are waiting, keep working because faith without works is dead.
You may not see it yet, but hold tight… it’s coming.
